Tax Refunds

Goods and services in the Province of Ontario are normally subject to an 8% provincial sales tax (PST) as well as a 7% goods and services tax (GST) levied by the Government of Canada.

Registration fees for the Arts and Performance Congress, however, are exempt from both the PST and GST.

For GST paid on other goods and services, non-residents of Canada may be able to claim a refund. For more information, go to the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency website http://www.ccra-adrc.gc.ca.
