About Us
The World Congress of Science Producers is an organization, an event and a community. Broadcasters, content creators, researchers, academics, journalists and distributors of science programming have, for a decade, bonded together in an association to share ideas, insights, and issues of concern. The 11th annual World Congress of Science Producers heads to the "City of Light", Paris, France, December 3-6, 2003. Delegates from around the world will gather at the Hôtel Lutetia to take part in this four-day forum featuring plenary sessions, workshops, lunches with commissioning editors, screenings and networking opportunities for those who are in the business of making science and natural history programs.
The World Congress of Science Producers is a member driven organization dedicated to celebrating the best in science production. It is administered by a Board of Directors and a Steering Committee that deals primarily with editorial matters. Members are listed here. The annual Congress is managed by the Banff Television Foundation.
